Ruthie Foster to appear at WoodSongs

Grammy-nominated singer Ruthie Foster will perform her mix of soul, folk and blues at the Woodsongs Old-Time Radio Hour on Monday. Marquise Knox also will perform. Studio Players' comedy set at Ford's Theater

Studio Players will present Our Leading Lady, a comedy set in 1865 about Laura Keene, an actress whose career takes a bad turn when she stars in a show at Ford's Theater the same night that President Abraham Lincoln is assassinated. Show times are 8 p.m. on Thursday, opening night, Fridays and Saturdays, 2:30 p.m. Sundays through Feb. 5 at the Carriage House Theatre, 154 W. Bell Court. Tickets are $17, $10 for students. Lexington Children's Theatre to present tales about the sky

Storytellers re-enact fables about the sky from around the world in Tales of the Shimmering Sky, presented by Lexington Children's Theatre.
