PAWTUCKET, R.I. (AP) -- Ryan Flaherty homered and had two hits, and Shao-Ching Chiang allowed just one hit over 5 1/3 innings as the Columbus Clippers topped the Pawtucket Red Sox 7-4 on Wednesday.
Chiang (1-3) picked up the win after he struck out five and walked six while allowing three runs.
Columbus went up 3-0 in the fourth after Eric Stamets hit a two-run single.
After Columbus added three runs, the Red Sox cut into the deficit with four runs in the sixth inning, including a single by Juan Centeno that scored Sam Travis.
The Clippers tacked on another run in the eighth when Bobby Bradley hit a solo home run.
Jeremy Bleich (0-1) went two innings, allowing one run and two hits while walking one in the International League game.
