This day last year: On-track attendance, 10,957; on-track betting, $898,202; total betting including simulcast, $6,708,139.

Coming up: Keeneland's closing-day feature is the 27th running of the Grade II, $150,000 Elkhorn Stakes in which 10-year-old Musketier will bid for his third consecutive win in the 1½ -mile test on the turf. The Acatenango gelding is trained by Hall of Famer Roger Attfield, who will also start Grade II winner Simmard in the Elkhorn.

Final furlong

■ With one day remaining in Keeneland's 15-day spring meeting, Thursday's attendance pushed the season's total to 251,909, surpassing the previous record 250,163 from the 2011 Fall Meet.
