The state of Kentucky was well represented on the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper 2015 Pre-Season All-America teams announced Friday.
Henry Clay graduate Walker Buehler, a pitcher from Vanderbilt, was named to the first team, as were Louisville pitcher Kyle Funkhouser and Morehead State outfielder Brandon Rawe.
Kyle Cody, a pitcher for Kentucky, received third-team honors.
Buehler, a junior right-hander, went 12-2 with a 2.64 ERA for Vanderbilt last season. He posted 111 strikeouts and two complete games in 16 starts.

Funkhouser, a junior right-hander from Oak Forest, Ill., went 13-3 with a 1.94 ERA for Louisville, striking out 122 in 18 starts.
Rawe, a senior from Matthews, N.C., batted .390 with 10 home runs, 48 RBI and 21 doubles for Morehead State.
Cody, a junior right-hander from Chippewa Falls, Wis., was 4-0 with a 2.84 ERA last season, leading UK with five saves in 18 games and six starts.
