University of Kentucky men's basketball coach John Calipari spoke about the 2014-15 season during Southeastern Conference Media Day on Wednesday, shortly after learning his team was the unanimous choice to win the league championship.
At one point, Calipari was asked how much pressure he felt overseeing a team expected to be so dominant.
"As long as I stay focused on these players we'll be fine," the coach said in all seriousness before not being able to resist a joke. "I coach at Kentucky There's not that much pressure. ... You can go .500 and you're fine. ... Keep you head above water they tell me."
The Wildcats not only are the unanimous choice to win their league but were ranked No. 1 in the nation in the USA Today preseason coaches poll released last week.
