Ex-Cats return to Rupp as Kings take on Pelicans on Saturday

Former University of Kentucky players Willie Cauley-Stein, DeMarcus Cousins, Anthony Davis and Rajon Rondo will be back in Rupp Arena on Saturday night when their NBA teams play a pre-season exhibition game in Lexington.

Davis, a member of Kentucky's 2012 national champions, is entering his fourth season with the New Orleans Pelicans.

Cauley-Stein is a rookie with the Sacramento Kings. Cousins also played under Coach John Calipari at Kentucky. Rondo, a veteran point guard in his first season in Sacramento, played under Tubby Smith at UK.

Game time for the exhibition is 7 p.m.

Davis is averaging 21.3 points and 7.0 rebounds in three exhibitions this pre-season.

Cousins has played four exhibitions, averaging 17.5 points and 8.0 rebounds. Rondo has played in five games, averaging 6.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.4 steals. Cauley-Stein has also made five pre-season appearances, averaging 5.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.4 blocks.
