Former Kentucky point guard Andrew Harrison had a game-high six assists in the Memphis Grizzlies’ 87-81 win Thursday afternoon against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Grizzlies improved to 4-0 in the Orlando Summer League, and they’ll play the Magic’s “White” squad in the championship game at noon ET on Friday.
Harrison missed the only shot he took from the field, and he was 1-for-2 at the free-throw line for his only point of the game. He had one steal and one turnover in 23 minutes.
Harrison has averaged 5.8 points and 3.3 assists in Memphis’ four games.
Former Louisville star Russ Smith 17 points, four rebounds, four assists and five steals for Memphis. He also had five turnovers.
Dakari Johnson (UK) was 3-for-6 and finished with seven points and five rebounds for the Thunder.
Johnson has averaged 7.0 points and 8.0 rebounds. The Thunder will play the Los Angeles Clippers in the fifth-place game at 8 a.m. Friday.
Aaron Harrison, who is playing for the Charlotte Hornets, are 1-3 in Orlando. He has averaged 13.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.8 steals.
Aaron’s final game in the Orlando league will be at 4 p.m. Friday against the Brooklyn Nets.
Celtics 85, Spurs 71: James Young (UK) played just more than nine minutes before leaving the game for good with a hip injury. He was 0-for-4 with one point and two rebounds.
Terry Rozier (Louisville) had 16 points and seven assists for Boston. Wayne Blackshear (U of L) had nine points and three rebounds for the Spurs.
