UK baseball team receives pre-season ranking

Kentucky is ranked No. 19 by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, the third consecutive season the UK baseball team has been ranked in the pre-season.

All 12 Southeastern Conference teams are either in the newspaper's pre-season Top 40 poll or received votes.

Kentucky, led by first-year coach Gary Henderson, opens its season Feb. 20, facing Troy in Myrtle Beach, S.C., in the Coastal Carolina pre-season tournament.
