Byrd, a 6-foot-7, 190-pound shooting guard, is a junior at Blackhawk Christian school in Fort Wayne, Ind.

His coach at Blackhawk Christian, Trent Lehman, said on Thursday that Byrd is also considering Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana and Ohio State.
"Kentucky wants him to come down and see how neat that time is," Lehman said of the Madness weekend. "Basketball is king there."
Byrd visited Michigan State last weekend. He plans to visit Ohio State at the end of September, Lehman said.
One of the nation's top big man prospects in the class of 2009, Daniel Orton of Oklahoma City, also plans to visit UK's Madness.
UK moves its women's clinic

Game time for UK-LSU changed
The start time for the Kentucky-Louisiana State basketball game on Feb. 28 in Lexington has been changed to 4 p.m. It will still be carried on CBS.
