In addition to several new faces (Kevin Galloway, Darius Miller, DeAndre Liggins, etc.), the Wildcats also will be unveiling a new uniform.

UK and Nike, the school's corporate sponsor, announced Wednesday that the new uniform will be on display at Madness on Friday night.
There is no word yet on whether the uniform will be a radical departure from the traditionally conservative Kentucky style.

ESPN announced its plans for television coverage of Midnight Madness. It covers four hours of celebration on Oct. 17.
Because Kentucky is doing its Madness on Friday doesn't mean it will be absent from the ESPN plan.
Spokesman Michael Humes said that ESPN will have a "campus connection student" doing a report from Kentucky's Madness.
That report will be pre-packaged and used as part of ESPN's coverage on Oct. 17.
