University of Kentucky sophomore swingman Darius Miller described playing with his new teammates as "pretty different" from last year, when he conducted a question-and-answer session with Mike DeCourcy of the Sporting News.

Miller, who averaged 5.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists as a freshman, also told DeCourcy the team's competitive level has risen.

"It's pretty different," Miller said. "In pickup, the games seem more intense, a lot more competitive. Everybody knows you have to play as hard as you can every single time, or you're going to get embarrassed. A lot of the players on the team are real competitive and they want to win every single game. So it's a lot of fun."
