Outlook: The Mocs' top four scorers from last season, all seniors, returned for 2011-12 but things have not gone according to plan. Three agonizing losses to Gardner-Webb, Georgia Southern and Charleston by a total of 12 points had Shulman looking for a break. "We played like a good basketball team but lost the games," Shulman told the Chattanooga Times Free Press. Then the Mocs lost again, 67-56, Saturday at Mercer. Chattanooga point guard Keegan Bell ranks ninth nationally with 6.9 assists per game. The Mocs limit opponents to 41.1 percent shooting and average 8.5 steals per game. Ricky Taylor (12.3 points per game) and Omar Wattad (11.3) lead the team in scoring. The Mocs are deep, with nine players averaging more than 10 minutes per game.
