It was Senior Night, and Kentuckian Darius Miller's introduction ignited the Rupp crowd. But NBA scouts had to be drooling when Anthony Davis opened with a baseline hook and then swished a three-pointer. Senior Eloy Vargas kept things rolling by putting back his own miss, and it was 7-0. A couple of Miller three-pointers helped push UK to a 37-19 halftime lead. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Terrence Jones combined for 16 points and 13 rebounds in the first half. After intermission, a highlight putback by Davis made it 48-24, and UK was never tested.
■ Kidd-Gilchrist went 11 games without a three-pointer (0-for-9) until Thursday night.

■ Only seven fouls were called in the first half. There also were seven turnovers.
■ UK had 18 of the game's first 26 rebounds.
■ UK hit seven straight three-pointers in eight second-half possessions. Six Cats hit three-pointers.
■ In two games, Georgia has scored 93 points against UK.
■ To senior Miller. It's been fun watching the progress.
■ The UK defense was outstanding again. Georgia's 19 first-half points were the fewest allowed by UK since South Carolina's 18 on Jan. 7. UGA shot 28 percent in the half.
■ With Davis expanding his offense and the UK shooters on fire, the offense keeps getting sharper.
■ Here's doubting Miller and Vargas are the only Cats who will not be suiting up again in Rupp. You can't blame Davis and company if they go to the next level, but it would be fun to see them again.
■ Georgia's effort.
