The Next Cats basketball recruiting pages for UK’s top targets in the classes of 2017 and 2018 have been updated with the latest information on nearly 40 high school prospects on the Wildcats’ radar.

Many of Coach John Calipari’s biggest recruiting priorities were in Colorado Springs, Colo., earlier this month for the USA Basketball developmental training camps and spoke to the Herald-Leader about their on-the-court progress and future plans. Several player bios have been updated to reflect those conversations, and official height and weight measurements have also been updated with the numbers released by Team USA.

The Next Cats’ 2017 page includes links to the 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions for each of the Wildcats’ top targets.

The number of UK scholarship offers extended to players in the class of 2017 (rising seniors) stands at 13, though five-star point guard Quade Green is visiting Lexington this week and could pick up an offer from the Wildcats during his trip.

One notable addition to the class of 2018 page is Baltimore-area standout Immanuel Quickley, who excelled during the Team USA U17 training camp and could emerge as UK’s top point guard target in his class.

The 2017 and 2018 pages, which include bios, rankings and video highlights, will continue to be regularly updated with the latest information as UK’s targets narrow their recruiting focus and pare their list of schools in the coming months.

Herald-Leader recruiting writer Ben Roberts will be in South Carolina next week for Nike’s Peach Jam finals, which will feature all of UK’s top targets in the class of 2017 and several elite players from the 2018 class.
