Louisville got its second highly-ranked commitment in the class of 2017 on Tuesday. Scout.com reported that Darius Perry, a 6-foot-2 point guard out of Powder Springs, Ga., picked the Cardinals over Georgia after recently visiting both schools.

Perry, a four-star prospect ranked 48th in ESPN’s top 100 players for the 2017 class, also had offers from Alabama, Memphis and Xavier, among several others.

He was the second highly-rated prospect to choose Louisville this month; Malik Williams, a 6-foot-11 center from Fort Wayne, Ind., committed to U of L on Aug. 4.
