University of Kentucky signee Linnae Harper came off the bench to contribute seven points, four rebounds and four assists Thursday as the United States beat host Lithuania 113-47 during its opening game at the U19 basketball World Championships.
Harper, a Chicago native, made three of eight shots from the field and one of four free throws. She also had two steals and committed one turnover in 20 minutes of play.
All 12 players scored for the U.S., which was led by 26 points from Connecticut sophomore-to-be Breanna Stewart.
The U.S. continues group play Friday with a 1:15 p.m. (EDT) game against China.
