Kentucky will be without starting forward Tatyana Wyatt for Sunday afternoon’s game against High Point, a team spokesman said.
Wyatt, a 6-foot-2 sophomore forward from Columbus, Ga., has a nagging foot injury and will rest it on Sunday when the Cats play the Panthers at Memorial Coliseum at 2 p.m.
Wyatt has started all three games for UK this season and is averaging 5.7 points and five rebounds a game. Last season she missed eight games due to injuries.
The sophomore forward is listed as day-to-day, the UK spokesman said. The Cats have an important string of games to close out November at the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam starting Thursday. UK will face No. 21 South Florida, UCLA and North Carolina over three straight days before returning home to take on Morehead State on Nov. 28.
