Kyra Elzy, Kentucky women’s basketball's new associate head coach, signed a two-year deal worth $245,000 a year, according to the details of her contract released by the school Thursday.
Elzy, 37, held the same title at Tennessee, where she made $239,484, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel.
The former Lady Vols standout, who won two national championships and four Southeastern Conference regular-season titles under Pat Summitt, parted ways with Tennessee on April 6.
Another former Tennessee player, Niya Butts, is expected to be announced soon as another UK assistan. The former Arizona head coach previously worked at Kentucky for five seasons, starting in 2003 under former coach Mickie DeMoss.

Elzy also spent four years at UK as an assistant under Mitchell before leaving for her alma mater in 2012.
Elzy’s new deal with UK includes typical incentive bonuses for team achievements on and off the court.
