"I'd say Micah and Ricky are out for this week," Brooks said. "I'm just hopeful they'll be able to return next week."
Johnson, a junior linebacker, leads the team in tackles with 17, including 15 solo tackles and 21/2 tackles for a loss. Lumpkin, a sophomore tackle, has six tackles in three games this season, including two for a loss.
Freshman quarterback Randall Cobb, suffering from his own high ankle sprain, remains out indefinitely.
