Ankle sprain knocks Pryor out of Florida game

Kentucky senior defensive tackle Myron Pryor has been ruled out of Saturday's football game at fifth-ranked Florida with a high ankle sprain, Coach Rich Brooks announced Tuesday.

Pryor suffered the injury during the second half of Saturday's 21-20 win over Arkansas.

The Wildcats were missing several other defensive starters at Tuesday's practice, including all three starting linebackers: Micah Johnson (ankle), Johnny Williams (shoulder) and Braxton Kelley (bruised shoulder).

Brooks said that all three linebackers were questionable to doubtful for Saturday's game.

Also sitting out Tuesday was cornerback David Jones (arm). Free safety Marcus McClinton (knee) participated in half the practice.

"It was a different-looking practice," Brooks said. "We had 51/2 starters missing, so we've got a lot work to do in the training room and in the film room and on the practice field to possibly get some people who haven't played much ready to play."
