University of Kentucky football fans will have to drive about 400 miles south on Interstate 65 to see the Wildcats play the Pittsburgh Panthers in the BBVA Compass Bowl in Birmingham, Ala., on Saturday, Jan. 8. Or they could watch the noon game on ESPN.
For fans who want to go to Legion Field, tickets are available at BBVAcompassbowl.com or at 1-800-590-3981. Tickets are $50 for sideline seats and $30 for corner seats.
All tickets in UK's allotment are $50 sideline seats. Here's how to order through UK:
Season ticket holders may order online at their "My UK Account" on the UK ticketing site through 4 p.m. Tuesday.

Any fan may fax a ticket application, found at UKathletics.com/tickets/2010-compass-bowl-content.html, to the UK ticket office at (859) 323-1269. Orders received by 4 p.m. Tuesday will be assigned according to priority points.
Fans also may call the UK ticket office at 1-800-928-2287 or go to the ticket office in the Joe Craft Center. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
UK said travel packages will be handled through Total Sports Travel, 1-888-367-8781.
Distribution of student tickets starts at 9 a.m. Friday at the Joe Craft Center ticket office. No lottery will be held; tickets will be sold first-come, first-serve at the windows. Students may buy an unlimited number.
