Five Kentucky players to take part in football all-star games

Five University of Kentucky football seniors have been invited to play in postseason all-star games.

Defensive end/linebacker Alvin "Bud" Dupree, tight end Steven Borden, wide receiver Demarco Robinson, offensive lineman Darrian Miller and defensive end Za'Darius Smith all received opportunities to showcase themselves for next spring's NFL Draft.

Borden will play Saturday in the Medal of Honor Bowl in Charleston, S.C. The game will be televised at 2:30 p.m. on the NBC Sports Network.

Robinson will take part in the NFL Players Association Collegiate Bowl on Jan. 17 in Carson, Calif., with kickoff set for 4 p.m. on ESPN2. ESPNU will air live practices Wednesday and Thursday.

Miller and Smith will play in the East-West Shrine Game on Jan. 17 in St. Petersburg, Fla. The game will be broadcast live on the NFL Network at 4 p.m.

Dupree will be playing in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala., on Jan. 24. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. on the NFL Network.
