This year’s Marshall County Hoop Fest will once again feature a handful of major University of Kentucky basketball targets, along with several players who are expected to one day be top NBA Draft picks.
The Hoop Fest schedule — obtained Tuesday by the Herald-Leader — includes Harry Giles (Oak Hill), Miles Bridges (Huntington Prep), Jayson Tatum (Chaminade), Thon Maker (Athlete Institute) and Josh Jackson (Prolific Prep) — five seniors widely considered to be among the best in the country.
The showcase will be played Dec. 3-6 at Marshall County High School in Benton, Ky. Recent editions of the Hoop Fest have included such players as Andrew Wiggins, Devin Booker, Trey Lyles, Emmanuel Mudiay, Malik Newman, Andrew and Aaron Harrison and Skal Labissiere.
