Kentucky's incoming recruiting class has been ranked the best in the nation by Scout.com.
The recruiting service released its new rankings Friday. Rivals.com released its updated rankings last week and also had UK rated No. 1.
UK jumped to the top of the list after signing point guard Eric Bledsoe, the No. 37 player in the nation according to Scout.
Bledsoe will join DeMarcus Cousins (No. 3 overall), Daniel Orton (No. 17), Jon Hood (No. 45) and junior-college transfer Darnell Dodson in the Class of 2009.

UK is also among several schools still pursuing John Wall, the nation's top-rated point guard and No. 2 overall high school senior according to Scout.
Villanova, North Carolina, Kansas and Georgia Tech rounded out Scout's top five. Other schools of interest in the top 25 were Indiana (No. 10), Minnesota (No. 15), Florida (No. 16), Mississippi State (No. 18) and Louisville (No. 21).
Cal auctions tickets for $50K
University of Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari wrote on his Twitter page Friday night that two UK-UofL basketball tickets had raised $50,000 for charity.
Calipari wrote from the 2009 Dick Vitale Gala for Cancer Research in Sarasota, Fla.
