Hunter Bowles, a 6-foot-6, 245-pound senior tight end/defensive at Glasgow High School, has a scholarship offer from Kentucky.
Bowles got the phone call from UK Coach Joker Phillips on his way to school Friday morning.
Bowles also has offers from Louisville, Marshall and Murray State.
"It's important for me and my family to get as many options as I possibly can," Bowles said.

As for making a college choice, Bowles has no timeline. "I want to get out and visit the schools and their programs before making a decision," he said.
Bowles said Phillips told him he isn't sure if he'd want the Glasgow standout to be part of the incoming freshman class next year, or "gray shirt" and enroll in January, 2013.
Glasgow Coach Rick Wood said that Bowles has "always been blessed with tremendous hands," and had 50 career catches and 10 TDs coming into this season.
"But he's really become more of a physical player ... and a tremendous blocker."
Bowles said he started to "develop a passion for blocking last year. I realized that's what can make me a high-level player."
Class 2A Glasgow is undefeated after four games this season.
