Kentucky football coach Mark Stoops landed two more commitments Monday.
Marcus McWilson, a 6-foot-safety from Youngstown, Ohio, tweeted that he had committed to UK, just hours after wrapping up his official visit to Lexington.
McWilson is rated by Rivals.com as the No. 196 overall player in the class of 2013, and the No. 18 safety. He was previously committed to Nebraska, where he was recruited by new UK tight ends coach Vince Marrow. Stoops and Marrow attended the same Youngstown high school as McWilson — Cardinal Mooney.
McWilson is the first "Rivals 250" prospect to commit to Kentucky from the class of 2013. The Cats have successfully recruited just one other Rivals 250 player since 2008: safety Glenn Faulkner (2011).

UK also received a pledge Monday from Florida wide receiver Alex Montgomery.
The 6-1 recruit is rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals.com, Scout.com and ESPN. He’s considered the No. 51 wide receiver in the class, according to Rivals.
Montgomery chose UK over Louisville, N.C. State, Ole Miss, Central Florida and others.
Kentucky now has 17 commitments for the class of 2013, including nine since Stoops took over for Joker Phillips in November.
UK remains in the mix for several other prospects, including a handful of four-star recruits.
Signing Day is Feb. 6.
