Another pair of highly touted football prospects joined Mark Stoops' first recruiting class at Kentucky on Friday night.

JoJo Kemp — the fifth-best available running back in the country according to ESPN — committed to the Wildcats and will likely be counted on to make an immediate contribution next season.

Kemp is a four-star recruit and the No. 28 running back in the nation according to ESPN. The 5-foot-10, 190-pounder from DeLand, Fla., chose UK over West Virginia, Pittsburgh and South Florida, the school he decommitted from during his senior season.

Kemp's ability to catch passes out of the backfield should make him a good fit for new offensive coordinator Neal Brown.

Stoops also picked up a commitment from wide receiver Jeff Badet, another Orlando-area prospect.

The 5-foot-11 Badet is considered a three-star prospect by, and ESPN, which has him ranked as the No. 106 overall receiver in the senior class.

Badet picked the Cats over Wake Forest and Iowa State. He also decommitted from South Florida after the Bulls fired head coach Skip Holtz.

Kentucky now has three wide receivers in its incoming class, with Badet joining junior college standout Javess Blue and three-star prospect Alex Montgomery.

The addition of Kemp and Badet gives Kentucky 19 commitments for the class of 2013. Eleven of those players have joined since the hiring of Stoops and his staff. The other eight are holdovers from the Joker Phillips era.

Ten of UK's 19 commitments are from the state of Florida.

Stoops is still recruiting several players in the run-up to national signing day Wednesday, including Kentuckians Ryan Timmons (Franklin County) and Jason Hatcher (Trinity).
