The Kentucky football program has secured another major addition to its growing group of offensive linemen in the class of 2015.
Ohio's George Asafo-Adjei committed to the Wildcats on Monday.
Asafo-Adjei is considered a four-star prospect by 247Sports and a three-star recruit by Rivals.com. He attends the same high school in West Chester, Ohio that produced current UK freshmen Mikel Horton and Kyle Meadows.
The 6-foot-4, 310-pound prospect also had scholarship offers from Florida, Louisville and West Virginia, among others.
Asafo-Adjei was one of UK's top remaining targets on the offensive line, and he is the sixth offensive lineman to commit to the Wildcats for the class of 2015. He joins Luke Hiers, Levon Livingston, Logan Stenberg, Larry Wells and Mason Wolfe in that group.
Rivals.com ranks Asafo-Adjei as the No. 42 offensive guard in the class and the No. 32 overall prospect in the state of Ohio.
His commitment is yet another victory for Coach Mark Stoops and UK recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow in the their home state. Marrow was the primary recruiter for Asafo-Adjei.
Five of Kentucky's 10 commitments for next year's class are from Ohio.
With the addition of Asafo-Adjei, the Wildcats will move up seven spots to No. 22 in the Rivals.com class rankings for 2015. That's just one spot behind No. 21 Ohio State, which also has 10 commitments for next year.
