The No. 1 running back in the country narrowed his list to five schools Friday.
Madison Southern star Damien Harris announced that he is down to Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Ohio State and Texas A&M. He has not publicly named any favorites among those five schools, though UK and Ohio State are widely believed to be at the top of the list.
Rivals.com ranks Harris as the No. 1 running back in the class of 2015 and the No. 4 overall prospect among rising seniors. He is the highest-rated Kentuckian since Rivals started publishing player rankings more than a decade ago.
A notable exception from Harris' list was Michigan, the school he originally committed to. The 5-foot-11 prospect backed out of his pledge to the Wolverines following the 2013 season.

Texas A&M is a new addition to the list. Harris announced Friday that he had received a scholarship offer from the Aggies.
Harris plans to announce his college decision Dec. 13. His season opener is Aug. 22 at Madison Southern, and he will play in Lexington (against Paul Laurence Dunbar) on Sept. 12.
