Class of 2015 standout Thomas Bryant will take an unofficial visit to the University of Kentucky on Friday, according to Huntington (W.Va.) Prep Coach Arkell Bruce.
Bryant — a 6-foot-10 power forward from Rochester, N.Y. — is ranked by ESPN as the No. 16 overall player in the senior class.
John Calipari started recruiting him last year and UK coaches have stayed in contact throughout the summer. Bryant does not have a scholarship offer from the Wildcats, but that could change in the coming weeks if he continues to show more interest in UK.
Indiana, Missouri and Syracuse have all offered and are considered the favorites in his recruitment. Former Huntington Prep head coach Rob Fulford is now an assistant coach at Missouri.
