Along with the win on Sunday, University of Kentucky basketball fans were treated to a tearful reunion between a soldier and his family.

Air Force Senior Master Sergeant James A. Allegrezza first appeared on the video boards at the UK-Buffalo game to cheer on UK and to greet to his family. Immediately after the video ended, he appeared on the court, surprising his wife and two children.

Allegrezza was born in Williamsport, Pa., and graduated from Woodford County High School in Versailles in 1994. He enlisted in September 1995 as a medical services apprentice. In a video broadcast by UK, Allegrezza said he had been serving in southwest Asia.
