The NGA Tour announced its 2014 schedule and while it includes its regular May stop in Kentucky, it won't be back at Cherry Blossom Golf & Country Club in Georgetown.
The developmental golf tour, which ranks third in the United States to the PGA and Web.com tours, will instead play at Shelbyville Country Club on May 19-25. It's the home course for 2012 NGA Tour Player of the Year Brandon Brown. The former Eastern Kentucky University standout won at the tour's 2013 stop in Georgetown in a playoff. He also won the event in 2011.
Cherry Blossom first hosted the tour, when it was sponsored by Hooters, in 2008. The inaugural event was won by former University of Kentucky standout Mark Blakefield, who also won in 2010.
