Drake Jackson, an offensive lineman from Woodford County High School who has committed to play football next year at the University of Kentucky, received national recognition Friday.

Before the Yellow Jackets headed to Montgomery County to play the Indians on Friday night, Jackson was presented his jersey for the 2016 U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Jan. 9 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

Jackson received his honorary jersey from Staff Sergeant Cody Tribble and Sergeant First Class Jesus Davalos during a ceremony at his high school in Versailles.

Jackson is one of three players who have committed to UK who will be playing in the high school all-star game. The others are offensive lineman Landon Young of Lafayette and linebacker Kash Daniel of Paintsville.
