Friday's kickoffs

City games

Clark County (0-7) at Tates Creek (2-5): The Cardinals are on a 10-game losing streak. Their last victory was against Tates Creek last October, the fourth year in a row they beat the Commodores.

Lexington Christian (5-2) at Somerset (5-2): LCA faces a Briar Jumpers defense that is one of the stingiest in the state.

Madison Central (5-2) at Lafayette (5-3): Madison Central's Hunter Stocker has passed for 2,700 yards and 28 touchdowns over the last two years. The Generals' Garrett Peavler has thrown for 2,417 yards, 18 TDs in that time.

Scott County (6-1) at Bryan Station (5-2): Offense aplenty. Scott County is averaging 52 points and 444 yards a game. Bryan Station is averaging 44 points and 427 yards a game.

Top state games

Anderson County (6-1) at Franklin County (8-0): Anderson County, averaging 33 points, may have to score a lot more to keep up with the Flyers, who are averaging a mind-blowing 60 points.

Bowling Green (8-0) at Warren Central (8-0): Bowling Green's 22-game win streak includes a pair of victories over the Dragons last year.

Breathitt County (7-0) at Morgan County (7-0): Both teams are unbeaten, but Dave Cantrall rates Breathitt County a four-TD favorite.
