Henry Clay piled up nearly 700 yards of offense, saw six of its players score touchdowns and turned in a 57-15 shellacking of Madison Central on Thursday night.
Junior Davonte Robinson kicked off the scoring with a 33-yard interception return with 3:53 left in the first quarter.
The host Blue Devils led just 13-8 at halftime following a 3-yard TD reception by Central's Jared Grant from Zach Hardin.
The teams exchanged scores in the opening moments of the third before the floodgates opened and Henry Clay (5-1) put up the game's final 37 points.
Joquise Buford led the Blue Devils with 170 rushing yards and a TD.
Robinson finished with 132 yards on eight carries. He rushed for a 26-yard TD in the third quarter to finish with one on each side of the ball.
Colby Barnes caught five passes for 85 yards and two TDs.
Johan Williams finished with 111 all-purpose yards for Madison Central (2-5).
... but not so kind to LCA
Kash Daniel went 12-for-19 for 175 yards and two TDs as Paintsville scored all of its points in the first half and held on for a 24-12 win over Lexington Christian.
Daniel also rushed for 91 yards and a TD for the Tigers (5-1), who finished 435 yards of total offense and held the ball for nearly 31 minutes of game action.
Dima Ballard scored both TDs for the Eagles (3-3), but went 6-for-19 for just 39 yards and threw two interceptions.
Daymion Belcher rushed for 138 yards — including a 45-yard TD run — for Paintsville. Luke Trimble led the Tigers in receiving with 126 yards and a TD.
