Glasgow's Landrum, Pulaski County's Moberly earn state's top golf honors

Glasgow sophomore Chase Landrum and Pulaski County senior Elsa Moberly are Kentucky's Mr. and Ms. Golf. The awards, based on a season-long point system, are given by the Kentucky Junior Golf Foundation.

Landrum, who tied for third in the Leachman/KHSAA State Tournament, edged Zach Norris of Jackson County and Jacob Cook of Franklin County for the top spot.

Moberly, who finished third in the girls' state tournament, eclipsed Lauren Hartlage of Elizabethtown. Moberly has commited to Mississippi State.

Boys' all-state

First team — Chase Landrum (Glasgow), Zach Norris (Jackson Co.), Jacob Cook (Franklin Co.), Connor Haas (West Jessamine), John Augenstein (Owensboro Catholic), Michael Sass (St. Xavier), Tyler Lippert (Mason Co.), Allen Hamilton (St. X), James Inman (Trinity), Ryan Gillum (Elliott Co.).

Second team — Kyle Jeffers (North Laurel), Paul Huber (Covington Catholic), Matt Liston (St. X), Cody Kellam (Grant Co.), Spencer McKinney (Danville), C.J. Jones (Franklin Co.), Billy Basham (St. X), Austin Squires (Ryle), Steven Zehr (Union Co.), Will Foreman (Daviess Co.)

Girls' all-state

First team — Elsa Moberly (Pulaski Co.), Lauren Hartlage (Elizabethtown), Madison Thomas (Shelby Co.), Maddie Hamilton (Sacred Heart), Tritsyn Nowlin (Madison Central), MacKenzie Peyton (Henry Co.), Olivia Cason (Owensboro Catholic), Anna Hack (Calloway Co.), Ellen Kehoe (Taylor Co.), Leslie Ginter (Henry Clay).

Second team — Sarah Boden (Grant Co.), Kie Purdom (Henry Clay), Lizzie Loy (Russell Co.), Cayce Hendrickson (Marshall Co,), Meredith Moir (Sacred Heart), Macy Wright (Grant Co.), Hannabeth Owens (Rockcastle Co.), Sarah Fite (Mason Co.), Rebecca Black (E-town), Teri Doss (Paducah Tilghman).
