Friday's stars: Top high school football individual performances around Kentucky

Friday night's top individual performances from high school football playoff games in Kentucky:

Joquise Buford, Henry Clay (Class 6A): The junior ended his season with a 31-carry, 209-yard night against Meade County, last season's Class 6A runner-up. He also scored Henry Clay's only offensive touchdown in the 18-14 loss.

Aaron Williams and James Clark, Paris (Class A): The duo combined for nearly 400 rushing yards in the Greyhounds' 55-19 win over Ludlow. Williams, a senior, carried 11 times for 186 yards and four TDs. Clark, a junior, went for a career-high 207 yards and three TDs on 13 rushes.

Dillon Powell, Simon Kenton (Class 6A): The junior back rushed for 185 yards and four TDs to push the Pioneers past Madison Central.

Lucky Jackson, Lafayette (Class 6A): The Western Kentucky commitment reeled in six catches for 165 yards and a TD — a 65-yarder from sophomore Walker Wood.

Reese Ryan, Lexington Catholic (Class 4A): He went 5-for-6 for 228 yards and three TDs to different receivers in the Knights' 48-6 win over Clay County.
