No. 2 Lafayette (32-5), seeking its first region title since 2004, is led by senior aces Alex Daniel (8-0, 2.81 ERA) and Brandon Calia (7-2, 0.95), and senior first baseman C.J. Compton (.379, 31 RBI).
Lafayette plays Sayre in Monday's tournament opener. Sayre is in the region for the first time since 1997.
No. 5 Madison Central (30-6), region runner-up last year and looking for its first region title since 1993, is led by outfielders Ben Morin (.371, 25 RBI), and Josh Wright (.378, 36 RBI), and pitcher/infielder Joseph Holbrook (9-0, 1.39; .371, 16 RBI).

No. 17 Lexington Christian, which last won the region in 2010, is led by senior outfielder Drew Schacht (.446) and senior lefthander Dima Ballard (7-1, 1.38).
Henry Clay, whose last region title was in 2000, is led by senior pitcher/outfielder Aaron McGeorge (7-1, 1.65; .315) and senior outfielder Blake Urbanek (.362, 21 RBI, 21 runs).
