Three-star forward from Western Kentucky commits to Belmont

DeAndre “Pedro” Bradshaw, a 6-foot-7, 170-pound small forward who plays at Russellville, announced his commitment to Belmont University on Thursday afternoon.

The Bowling Green Daily News first reported Bradshaw’s decision via Twitter. Bradshaw later confirmed the report on his own Twitter account.

Bradshaw averaged 21.1 points and 12.2 rebounds last season for the Panthers, who fell to Russell County by one point in the first round of the 4th Region tournament. He shot 57.6 percent from the floor as a junior.

Rivals rates Bradshaw as a three-star prospect. He chose the Bruins from a final four list consisting of them, Eastern Kentucky, Long Beach State and UNC-Wilmington.

Russellville is a Class A school located in Logan County.
