Kentucky high school coach tells police he sold meth ‘to make some extra cash’

Lance Loeffler, the baseball coach at Fort Campbell High School, was charged with methamphetamine for resale, unlawful drug paraphernalia and possession of firearms during the commission of a dangerous felony following an arrest made on June 9 in Clarksville, Tenn., The Tennessean reported on Thursday.

Loeffler, 41, was stopped by police because he was not wearing a seat belt. During the stop he admitted to police “he had been selling crystal methamphetamine to make some extra cash,” according to his arrest warrant. Officers also found heroin and six pistols in his truck.
