How to follow tonight’s 11th Region basketball tournament games

The girls’ 11th Region tournament continues Friday night at Eastern Kentucky University’s McBrayer Arena.

Scott County, ranked third overall in the state, takes on Paul Laurence Dunbar, in the first semifinal at 6:30 p.m. Dunbar won the 43rd District tournament for the first time since 2012 and overcame Woodford County after trailing late in the first round. Scott County won the 42nd District for the second straight season and defeated Madison Southern in the first round.

Franklin County, the three-time defending 11th Region champ, meets Lafayette in the second semifinal at 8:15 p.m. The Generals blew past Madison Central in the first round to set up a matchup with the Flyers, which defeated them in last year’s title game. Franklin County won a close one against Henry Clay in the first round.
