Boys

■ Vee Sanford scored 22 points and Jaylen Beckham came off the bench to log a double-double in No. 13 Lexington Catholic's 66-58, come-from-behind victory at Louisville Christian on Saturday. The Knights trailed 38-28 at the half, but outscored the Centurions 20-9 in the third quarter and 18-11 in the fourth. LexCath closed the third quarter with a 9-0 lead to take its first lead since the opening minute of the second quarter.

Tates Creek senior Jordan Hagan scored 14 points, sophomore Marcellus Barksdale had 13 points and sophomore Ryan Fucci added 12 points and hit the final free throws in the Commodores' 52-51 victory at Bardstown. The Tigers trailed by eight points heading into the fourth quarter but hit three three-pointers to get back into the game.

■ Austin Flannery led No. 1 Scott County with 17 points off the bench in the Cardinals' 92-56 win over visiting Sayre. Eleven different Scott County players scored in the game including Richie Phares (15 points), Ge-Lawn Guyn (13 points), Tamron Manning (10 points) and University of Kentucky commitment Dakotah Euton (nine points, eight rebounds). Ryan Brady led the Spartans with 16 points and 10 rebounds.

■ Senior Robert Hatton poured in 27 points and sophomore Vinny Zollo, a UK commitment, added 17 points in No. 14 Clark County's 65-54 victory at Ashland Blazer.

Johnson Central's Ian Welch scored 23 points and the Golden Eagles came from behind for a 75-71 double-overtime victory at Pikeville. The Panthers' Matt Clevenger scored a game-high 28 points and drove the length of the floor to score the basket that sent the game to a second overtime.

Shelby Valley junior forward Ashley Hatfield scored the 1,000th point of his career in the No. 7 Wildcats' 69-37 win at East Ridge. Hatfield scored 19 points and Elisha Justice chipped in with 15 points.

■ UK commitment Dominique Ferguson scored 14 of his game-high 22 points in the second half Friday night to lead Lawrence North (Ind.) to a 69-58 victory over Carmel (Ind.) and UK football signee Morgan Newton. Newton, who will play quarterback for the Cats next season, scored 10 points for Carmel.

Girls

■ Junior forward Ebony Rowe recorded 17 points and 17 rebounds to help No. 22 Paul Dunbar to a 50-42 victory at Lafayette. Junior Lisa Hack led the Lady Generals with 15 points.

■ Maggie Wilson scored 17 points and Shaneque McGhee had 13 rebounds and four blocks but it wasn't enough to save Lexington Catholic from a 54-48 loss at No. 12 Louisville Christian. The Lady Knights hung in the game despite shooting 26 percent from the field and 16 percent from three-point range.

Tates Creek junior forward Jasmine Franklin turned in a 13-point, 14-rebound performance and the Lady Commodores scored a 50-37 victory at Shelby County.

■ Freshman center Maddie Mitchell scored a career-high 21 points to go with seven rebounds in Sayre's 36-28 victory over visiting Deming.

Woodford County hung with 10th-ranked Rowan County for two quarters before the Lady Vikings finally distanced themselves in the second half for a 70-46 road victory. The Lady Yellowjackets trailed by only three points at halftime, but were outscored 28-12 in the third quarter. Freshman guard Catie Fletcher led the Jackets with 14 points.

Anderson County senior guard Lindsey Fultz scored 16 points and the Lady Bearcats survived overtime for a 61-58 win at Clark County. Clark junior forward Kayla Jones hit a shot at the buzzer of regulation to send the game into OT, but the Lady Cardinals were playing without junior guard Jewel Rogers, who scored a game-high 18 points but was injured midway through the fourth quarter.
