Girls

Republic Bank Holiday Classic at Lexington Catholic

■ Rebecca Greenwell outscored the competition by herself, recording a triple-double in Owensboro Catholic's 89-40 rout of Dayton (Ohio) Dunbar. Greenwell had 49 points, 17 rebounds and 12 steals to go with six assists, four three-pointers and two blocked shots.

■ Whitney Belle Jackson had stellar individual performance, too, scoring 35 points on 14-for-16 shooting and grabbing 12 rebounds in Clay County's 61-46 defeat of Assumption. Dee Dee Sliter scored 23 for the Rockets.

■ Danay Fothergill had 19 points and eight rebounds, and Jessica Pierce scored 17 to go with 10 rebounds and four assists in Southwestern's 63-45 victory against Betsy Layne. Taylor Hott had 21 points and six rebounds for Betsy Layne.

■ Jaylan Bodiford double-double — 14 points and 14 rebounds — helped Ballard ease past Conner 58-38. Javonna Layfield added seven points, 12 rebounds, and four assists. Toria Fischer hit four three-pointers and scored 21 points for Conner.

Murray's Haley Armstrong had 20 points and four rebounds in Murray's 64-45 win against Garrard County. Devin Conley led the Lady Lions with 14 points, six rebounds and five assists.

■ Brianna Averette's 15 points and seven rebounds helped Central get past Knott County Central 41-31.

Lincoln County's Sydney Harris had 16 points and five rebounds in a 44-40 victory against North Laurel. The Lady Patriots outscored the Lady Jaguars 17-9 in the third quarter.

Cheyenne Madden had 17 points and five rebounds for North Laurel.

Berea Lady Pirate Holiday Classic

■ Kelli Rinehart and Allie Evans scored 15 points apiece to lead Lexington Christian past Barren County 54-25. Kelli Mitchuson added 11 points, five assists and three steals.

Woodford County's Taylor Kelly scored 21 points and went 10-for-12 from the free throw line in a 52-41 win against Bullitt East. Kelly also had seven assists.

■ Tara Hill scored a game-high 19 points to help Model defeat Jackson County 43-40.

Elsewhere

Leslie County's Hilary Moore hit 20 of her 22 free-throw attempts and scored 39 points in host Pleasure Ridge Park's Lady Panther Winter Classic. Moore also had 12 rebounds and five assists. The Eagles also defeated Webster County 66-48 in another matchup. Moore scored 27 points in that contest.

Boys

Fairdale's Josh Stroud hit a three-pointer with four seconds to go to send their game to overtime, but Boone County prevailed 82-77 in the King of the Bluegrass tournament in Louisville. Trevan Brown scored 19 of his 22 points in the second half for the Rebels. He also had 10 rebounds.

Adair County finished with a 17-0 run to rally past Frankfort 55-48 in the First & Farmers Bank/Lindsey Wilson Classic. Kyle Young scored 20 points and John Hansel had 15 for Adair County. The Indians' Matt Fudge scored all 11 of his points in the fourth quarter. Doryian Frazier scored 12 for Frankfort.

■ Chris Gillispie's 19 points and six assists helped Bourbon County beat Hilton Head 49-40 in the Seahawk Classic in Hilton Head, S.C. Ricky Garza added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Colonels.

■ Dominique Hawkins scored 21 points and Madison Central edged Moore 64-62 in the Hoopin' it Up Holiday Classic. Deondre McWhorter had 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead Moore.
