Derby Festival Basketball moving to Yum Center

The Derby Festival Basketball Classic, which has been played in Freedom Hall since its inception in 1973, is moving to the new KFC Yum Center in downtown Louisville.

The 39th annual renewal of the nation's second-oldest continuously held high school all-star game is scheduled for Friday, April 22, 2011.

The Derby Festival Night of Future Stars will be held on April 21 in Bellarmine University's Knights Hall.

Tickets for the Classic, which include free admission to the Night of Future Stars, go on sale Jan. 14 and will cost $15 (plus facility fee) for all seats in the arena. Tickets may be purchased at the KFC Yum Center box office and all TicketMaster locations.
