Olivia Voskuhl scored 28 points, including five three-pointers, to lead Notre Dame, ranked third in Dave Cantrall's Rating the State, to a 63-44 victory against No. 13 Highlands in the 9th Region finals at Northern Kentucky University on Monday night.
Paige Kellam and Haylee Smith added 12 and 11 points, respectively, to help the Pandas (26-5) in the Sweet Sixteen.
No. 12 Owensboro Catholic 58, Meade County 51 (3rd): Duke signee Becca Greenwell had 17 points, 16 rebounds, four assists, four steals and three blocked shots to lead the Lady Aces (24-7) to a spot in the Sweet Sixteen. Kaylyn Pearson and Destiny Howard added 16 points apiece.
Shelby Valley 40, Sheldon Clark 31 (15th): Rachel Smith scored 12 points and Taylor Rowe added 10 as the Wildcats (28-4) defeated the Cardinals in the region finals at the East Kentucky Expo Center at Pikeville.
Corbin 63, Bell County 60 (13th): Kayla Wilson scored 21 points and Miranda Wilson and Sarah Ashley added 16 apiece in the Redhounds win in the finals at Harlan County. Maci Morris had 27 points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Cats.
Perry County Central 72, Wolfe County 34 (14th): The Commodores were up by 23 at halftime and rolled to a victory in the semifinals at home. Kayla Rankin led Perry Central with 17 points.
Letcher County Central 79, Leslie County 55 (14th): Kelah Eldridge scored 27 points in the Cougars' semifinal victory at Perry Central.
Montgomery County 52, Bishop Brossart (10th): Macie Spence had a game-high 20 points in the Indians' victory at Nicholas County.
Campbell County 57, Nicholas County 48 (10th): The Camels outscored the Ladyjackets by 15 in the third quarter en route to the semifinal victory. Kaitlin Siegmundt had 23 points for Campbell County.
