James Cornelius scored 16 of his 20 points in the second half and also had 10 rebounds in Clark County's 79-64 victory against Johnson Central in the Kentucky Bank Challenge at Rowan County.
Sophomore Mason Blair hit eight three-pointers in the second half for Johnson Central. He finished with 32 points.
■ Undefeated Manual (7-0) trailed by as many as 15 points before rallying in the fourth quarter to defeat Lafayette 58-56 in Louisville. The Crimsons' Dwayne Sutton scored 18 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and had five steals. Ross Jenkins had a team-high 16 points plus six rebounds for the Generals.
■ Kentucky Country Day used an 18-5 advantage in the third quarter to pull away for a 60-48 victory against Sayre in Louisville. Malyiek McCray and Anthony Mathis scored 18 and 17 points, respectively for the Bearcats. Quinn Pergande had 22 points, nine rebounds and two assists for the Spartans.

■ Scott County's Isaiah Johnson hit 10 of 16 shots and finished with 25 points and seven rebounds in a 94-80 victory against Lawrence County in the Hilton Garden Classic at Georgetown. Hines Jones added 22 points and six rebounds.
■ Braxton Beverley's 32 points helped Perry County Central cruise to a 78-55 victory against Elliott County in the Twin Lakes Classic at Clinton County.
■ Connor Hoskins had 29 points and 13 rebounds in host Buckhorn's 61-47 win against Hazard.
Conwell, Givens star in Lafayette girls' win
Lafayette cruised to a 55-16 win against Middlesboro in the Berea Holiday Classic. Aisha Conwell provided the Generals with a game-high 13 points. She also had five rebounds, five assists and three steals.
Lafayette also got 11 points, seven steals and three assists from Dee Givens.
■ Gabbie Bowie was 11-for-17 from the field and scored 24 points in Sayre's 48-28 defeat of host Whitefield Academy. Bowie also had 14 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks.
Dee Dee Wheeler tacked on 11 points and three assists, and Hannah Brady had six steals.
■ Deja Turner, Aleah Tucker and Ally Mayhaus scored 14 points apiece in Covington Holy Cross' 60-37 win against Lincoln County in the Traditional Bank Holiday Classic at Lexington Catholic. Mayhaus also had 14 rebounds, three steals and three blocked shots.
■ Elizabethtown rolled to a 60-23 victory against Central Hardin. Erin Boley had 17 points, 12 rebounds and six steals.
■ Alexis Stapleton scored 17 points to go with four assists in Scott's 61-44 win over South Laurel in the Traditional Bank Holiday Classic at Lexington Catholic.
■ Katie Moore scored 33 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and had five assists in Leslie County's 70-62 win against host Harlan in the Hyden Citizens Bank Classic.
■ Bardstown got 24 points, nine rebounds and six assists from Alexis Brewer in a 59-41 victory against Doss in the Lady Redhawk Classic at Seneca.
