Clay County gave up a 14-point lead before righting itself and pulling away for a 41-26 win at Scott County on Friday night.
John Wilson, who threw for 316 yards and four TDs, connected on a 23-yard score to Joey Dezarn and a 59-yarder to John Hooker to give Clay County a 20-6 lead at halftime.
But Scott County ran off 20 straight points to take a 26-20 lead early in the fourth quarter. Marcus Hill ran for two TDs and Josh Walls ran for another to put the Cardinals ahead.
But the Tigers went back in front on a 38-yard rush by Noah Reid. Reid followed that with an 85-yard TD catch from Wilson, who finished off the scoring with another TD pass to Hooker.
Highlands 29, Ryle 14: Corey Compton scored on a 5-yard run early in the third quarter to give Highlands a 19-14 lead and the Bluebirds went on to win at home. Highlands has won 30 straight games overall and 42 straight against other Kentucky schools.
Compton finished with 96 yards rushing and two scores. Jordan Streeter ran for 104 yards and one TD.
Ryle was held to 55 yards and one first down in the second half.
Breathitt Co. 26, Sheldon Clark 25: Breathitt County's Josh Fletcher caught a 70-yard touchdown pass from Richard Trent to cap a 13-point rally against visiting Sheldon Clark.
Trent scored on a 10-yard pass from Ryan Cox to cut the lead to 25-19. Fletcher, who had three catches for 147 yards, also caught a 62-yard TD pass from Trent.
Kristian Syles led Sheldon Clark with 103 yards rushing and three scores.
Frankfort 53, Paris 6: Aaron Jackson scored three touchdowns to help Frankfort rout Paris. The Panthers did most of their damage in the first half when they opened up a 47-0 lead.
Jackson scored Frankfort's last three TDs, two on passes from Dylan Quinn and another on a 26-yard fumble return. Quinn also threw a TD pass to Evan Wright.
Meade Co. 28, Anderson Co. 21: Max Cundiff scored three of his team's four rushing touchdowns, the last from one yard for what proved to be the winning score. Thomas Wilson scored the Green Wave's other TD from 49 yards.
Anderson County's Seth Carmichael threw a pair of TD passes to Neal Wells.
Corbin 52, Harlan 14: Matthew Taylor scored five touchdowns — three on the ground, one on a pass and another on a punt return — to lead Corbin past visiting Harlan.
Harlan's Joe Smith had a 6-yard TD run and caught a 22-yard TD pass.
Conner 46, Scott 6: Cy Smith ran for four touchdowns and threw for two more for the Cougars at home.
Smith scored on runs from 15, 3, 1 and 14 yards. He connected with Cameron Fogel on a 45-yard TD score and threw an 11-yarder to Taylor Miller.
