University of Kentucky recruit Patrick Towles was 14-for-25 for 330 yards and four touchdowns in the first half as No. 2 Highlands rolled over No. 11 Ryle 63-14.
Towles' first three TD passes all came in the first quarter, and a 95-yard interception return by Josh Quillen pushed the host Bluebirds' lead to 28-0.
Green Co. 52, Lexington Christian 13: The Dragons gained 466 yards and scored seven times on the ground in a pounding of the visiting Eagles. Donovan Burton did the bulk of the damage, running for 239 yards and three TDs.
Lexington Christian QB Lincoln Henzman threw a 15-yard TD pass to Adam Smith. Dylan Lancaster added 38 rushing yards and a TD.
Bourbon Co. 55, Paris 7: Kentayvous Hopkins scored twice in both the first and second quarters to send the Colonels past host Paris.
Hopkins, who entered the game as the state's leading rusher, scored his first TD on a 24-yard pass from John Stout. He followed that up with scoring runs that covered 56, 67 and 48 yards.
Stout also threw a 4-yard TD pass to C.J. Edmonds and ran for 1- and 13-yard runs.
Cooper 35, Dixie Heights 14: Tyler Morris, a junior quarterback, ran 28 times for 158 yards and four touchdowns in Cooper's win at home.
Dixie Heights QB Zeke Pike, who has committed to play at Auburn, threw a 52-yard pass to Seth Bruns and also scored on a 1-yard run. A.J. Collins scored on a 48-yard interception return for Cooper.
No. 16 Bell Co. 25, No. 21 Harlan Co. 14: A pair of long TD runs in the fourth quarter helped Bell County (9-1) rally for the win at home and hand Harlan County (9-1) its first loss of the season.
Jonathon Polly's second TD of the game, an 84-yarder, put Bell County ahead 18-14 and Corey Osolonian followed it up with a 75-yard score.
No. 1 Trinity 49, Cincinnati Moeller 14: The Shamrocks' Dalyn Dawkins ran for three scores, and quarterback Travis Wright and wide receiver James Quick hooked up for two TDs in a rout at home.
Dawkins ran for 157 yards on 15 carries. Quick had seven catches for 112 yards.
No. 6 Scott Co. 41, Simon Kenton 0: The Cardinals outgained the Pioneers on the ground 345-9. Josh Walls led the way with 126 yards and two touchdowns.
Scott County quarterback Ben Lawler also scored two rushing TDs and Dierrius Dumphord and Darrell Gray had one apiece.
Anderson Co. 42, Marion Co. 33: Seth Carmichael threw for 294 yards and four touchdowns for the visiting Bearcats. Ethan Kelly had six catches for 88 yards and two scores. Kelly also ran for 62 yards and a touchdown.
Woodford Co. 23, Harrison Co. 0: The Yellowjackets broke a scoreless tie in the third quarter on Taylor Stakelin's 2-yard run and host Woodford County went on to complete the shutout. Brandon Campbell ran for 105 yards, including a 20-yard TD.
Ballard 28, Campbell Co. 21: The Camels jumped out to a 21-6 lead before the Bruins scored with 22.7 seconds left to complete the rally.
Tyler Owen threw a 20-yard pass to Jamal Bulitt for the winning score. Owen also connected with DeVante Parker on a 6-yard throw to start the comeback.
