■ Distorted Alice scored one for the lower middle market on Thursday. The 4-year-old daughter of Suave, purchased for $2,500 at the 2009 Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale, got up late at odds of 61-1 to edge Onepointhreekarats in the day's third race. Onepointhreekarats, a daughter of Medaglia d'Oro, was a $1.3 million purchase at the 2009 Keeneland September yearling sale.
■ Peachtree Stable's Sacristy, winner of the Grade III Old Hat, heads a field of six 3-year-old fillies entered Thursday for Sunday's Grade II, $150,000 Beaumont Stakes, to be contested over seven furlongs, 184 feet.
