Churchill, Yum Brands extend Derby deal

Churchill Downs and Yum Brands on Thursday announced a five-year extension of their 2006 agreement that made the Louisville-based fast food company the presenting sponsor of the Kentucky Derby.

The companies did not disclose financial terms of the extension. The deal will not affect the purse of the Kentucky Derby, which will stand at $2 million guaranteed, according to a news release.
